Spelt Flavor
This feed contains a high content of spelt which promotes digestion and provides a high vitamin content. Additionally, it helps rabbits to find their pellets very tasty.
Supplement with Muesli
For young rabbits up to 6 months, we recommend Zooply Young Rabbit Support Muesli for additional growth and development support. For older rabbits, there is Zooply Energy Muesli, with extra nutrients to help, for example, through molting or to combat the cold in winter. Even on a rainy day, the rabbits will be less affected by the weather due to their good condition.
Important Note
Our feeds from the Germany line are not just a regular treat. If you opt for top-quality nutrition, you should consistently feed the Germany line. Always mix the last bit of feed with a new flavor feed to gradually acclimate your rabbits.
Feeding Advice
Zooply recommends a feeding advice of 30-35 grams per kilogram of body weight per animal daily.
It's important to remove the feed within an hour after offering it. Rabbits should not have unlimited access to pellets. This ensures better health for your rabbits.
Offer Unlimited Hay
In addition to pellets, rabbits should be offered unlimited hay.
The best hay for rabbits is low in protein and high in fiber, with a stemmy texture. The stemmier the hay, the less protein it will contain. Grass leaves are protein-rich, while stems are high in roughage. These fibers are crucial for the unique digestion process in the rabbits' cecum. High-quality hay contributes to the health of the rabbits.
